Blepharoplasty – Eyelid Lift

An Eyelid Lift or Blepharoplasty will improve the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both, giving a rejuvenated, rested appearance.

YOU MAY BE A CANDIDATE FOR UPPER EYELID SURGERY IF:

• Loose or sagging skin that creates folds or disturbs the natural contour of the upper eyelid, sometimes interfering with vision, can be treated by eyelid lift surgery.

YOU MAY BE A CANDIDATE FOR LOWER EYELID SURGERY IF:

• Loose or excess skin and fine wrinkles that are visible underneath the eye.
• Puffiness underneath the eye.

Dr. Buono will evaluate your overall health and you must be a non-smoker. She will discuss with you realistic goals and the risks that may be associated with a Blepharoplasty during your consultation. You may be referred to an Oculoplastic specialist if you have glaucoma, diabetes, chronic dry eye, thyroid disease, or a history of ocular trauma.
